In this series of 57 videos, you'll learn about relations and functions. We'll start out with the basics of graphing before moving on to examing how relationships work between two and among three points. Then, we'll take what we learn about equations and relations and apply this knowledge to circlus, functions, graphing, lines, etc. We'll work with functions and learn about the concepts of domain and range. We'll also deal with linear functions - interpreting their graphs, graphing them, recognizing them, etc. Then, we'll learn about the Greatest Integer Function and we'll take what we've learned about functions and relations to better our understanding of composite functions and quadratic functions. Once we have a feel for all of these different types of functions and relations (and their graphs), we'll look at how we can manipulate these graphs and how these graphic manipulations show up in the functions themselves.

This is very helpful, but would be even better if some of the problems had had an a- coefficient, such as f(x)=3x^2-9x=14

I was struggling to grasp this concept when reviewing for an exam, as the examples in my text were not sufficient enough. This video was able to articulate the concept in a very clear manner and I can finally exhale and feel confident going into my exam. Thanks!
