During this series I produce 16 complete paintings using a different medium or even mixed mediums showing you in detail how they may be used and also how they may best suit different subjects. There are not many films, if any, showing so many subjects, landscape, woodland, streams, flowers, people, streets, birds, trees, beaches, boats, snow, lake -- and so many methods in one go! About six hours of film from a professional artist and teacher. Watercolour, pastel, oils, pencil, indian inks, acrylic inks, chinagraph pencil, acrylic paint, and mixed medium, even picture framing! Not only will any artist of any ability enjoy be inspired and gain from this they will also be prepared to explore further by both the teaching and explanation of materials required. After this series artists may then enjoy further films by Peter that specialise on one area such as watercolour in more depth or travel with him abroad on his painting journeys.

Not enough explanation!

The artist seems capable enough he just needs to explain what he's doing in more detail. Also, once I enlarged the video to full screen the picture was so blurry it was hard to see exactly what the artist was doing. Not worth the money.....

Good explaining of technique

I enjoyed watching this video and the artist did a nice job of talking through most of the video explaining what he was doing, something I expect from an instructional video.

It would've been nice to see more than the two close-ups he had during his video, but it seems he is doing the painting and recording all himself. I noticed an improvement of the camera work from a previous video of his and he was much more mindful of when his hand was blocking the view.

Peter Wood is a good artist and it was fun to see his parrots come to life with beautiful color using the acrylic inks. I expected more pastels due to the name of the video, but it only showed him dabbing in some pink at the very last. I would recommend this video to be inspired to try the acrylic inks.
