I am a paper arts instructor in Austin, TX. I have a weekly instructional art show on local TV where I demonstrate making simple cards and gifts with rubber stamps and accessories, using a variety of techniques and graphic design principles.
I also work full time as the Community Manager for Splitcoaststampers.com - the world's largest papercrafting community and am a member of the Dirty Dozen Design Team.
My work has been featured in OnStage Magazine and I was quoted in Martha Stewart's 15th anniversary edition of her magazine.
My paper arts blog is www.understandblue.blogspot.com

This is a great lesson on some very cute handmade cards. The finished product is very impressive, and the process is much simpler than I expected! Lydia is great at outlining and describing all the necessary supplies and tools, like stamps, ink pads, glitter, and hole punches. Each step is very thoroughly described and clearly shown. I've wanted to get started in paper arts and scrapbooking, and I think that this might be just the project to get me going.
