Setting up a Solid State Drive or RAID array (5 lessons, $14.85)
Adding a Solid State Drives or SSD is a great way to speed up your computer. Unlike hard drives SSDs have no spinning discs to store data on. They do not make noise or get hot. The speed of accessing data from an SSD is it's greatest advantage. Most of the time you spend waiting on your computer to do things just goes away when you have an SSD. RAID allows you to make 2 or more drives appear as one drive in Windows. This can increase performance further and can allow for a built in backup of your data. This videos covers the basics of SSDs and RAID.
