2012 Build Your Own PC: Component Installation (10 lessons, $13.86)
Overview:
In this lesson we'll install or replace the computer fans with computer fan screws, into the system making sure the direction of airflow is correct and discuss cooling the hard drives. Whether your are building your first gaming PC yourself, a budget computer, or just interested in learning what goes into a computer these lessons will help you get there.
What we want to create is airflow, bringing in cool air from the front of the case and exhausting the hot air out the back. To do this, we use case fans. Some cases also bring cool air in from the bottom and side of the case and some cases also exhaust the hot air out the top of the case.
This lesson is part of a comprehensive series of lessons created by Home PC Builder that will guide you through the process of building your computer (from the selection internal and external components through installation and setup).
You can purchase all 27 lessons in the course and save 46%.
