This lesson is part of the following series:

Prajna Foundational Series (3 lessons, $56.43)

The opening part of the sequence is designed to passively mobilize the powerful tendons and ligaments that hold the ball and socket of the hip joints in place

The second part of the sequence is dynamic and builds stability in the hip joints.

The final poses are seated hip hip openers that prepare the body for seated meditation.

Above review says it perfectly! This sequence helps with stability as well as releasing the tension I get in the hips as a result of SI issues. I do this one often & it helps!

Fabulous Sequence

I love the way my hips feel after doing this sequence. My hips get tight from dancing, and I found this sequence helpful in releasing those tight muscles. It also strengthens the muscles of the hip joint in a balanced way. I will be using this sequence on a regular basis.
