Carter Picking is that style where the melody is played on the bass strings and the rhythm on the treble strings. In Chapter One we introduce the basic right hand technique, a bass strum that we will be utilizing throughout this series. You will also be introduced to pick angles and strumming techniques needed to produce good tone and learn to move the bass strum across different strings of the chord.
