Egypt Uprising - PART THREE (live presentation) by Dr. Ronald L. Hatchett: Part Three is ideal for those who want the hard facts and not supposition. This is “not what you see on CNN,” Hatchett states, “because it’s not the good story.” Scientific surveys expose Egypt’s views compared to other countries, i.e., views of Democracy, the United States, harsh punishments, nuclear programs, etc. Following a pragmatic summary of facts presented, Dr. Hatchett fields several questions from audience members regarding the Muslim Brotherhood, assistance from other countries, the growing gap between the rich and the poor, and more. Dr. Hatchett's PowerPoint slides with detailed facts and explanations are cross-faded into the live presentation for ease of reading and understanding. Recorded on February 11, 2011, two days before Mubarak’s resignation.
Dr. Hatchett served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years in intelligence and politico-military affairs and was a senior civilian official in the Department of Defense working with arms control and international security issues during President Reagan’s administration. He is a frequent world news analyst for local and national TV and radio.
