In this lesson, designed for beginning guitar players, you will learn the popular C, G and D chord progression. This includes explaining how to play each chord, transitioning between the three chords, and examples of songs using the C, G and D progression. You will also learn several methods of strumming for different effects. The notes in each chord are filmed close-up, so you can get a good understanding of finger placement.

I am a fan of music, as I hope is everyone. My instrument of choice is the guitar, however I also enjoy singing, and playing the piano.

I'd put $10 and say that this was the first guitar video Kevin recorded. Don't get me wrong, it's a good basic guitar lesson, I just think his other ones are a little more unique and interesting. That all being said, if you wants the basics on the CGD chord progression, Kevin will get you there.

This is a solid lesson for beginners. I highly recommend it.

The sounds is weird in the preview (not synched), but don't let that put you off, it is fine in the actual lesson.
